Summer Reading Challenge – Make, Paint and Plant a Pot!

Tuesday 22 July, Wednesday 6 August and Thursday 21 August

Join us for a series of three workshops where we will make a pot, paint a pot, then finally plant a pot! By the end of the summer, you will have your very own plant in a hand-made plant pot to take home with you!

Make a Pot – Tuesday 22nd July, 11:00 – 12:00pm

In this workshop, ceramicist Grace will be on hand to help you make your own plant pot from air-dry clay. We will also have lots of leaves, sticks and other nature materials to make imprints on the clay to help you decorate.

Paint a Pot – Wednesday 6th August, 3:00 – 4:00pm

In this workshop, we’ll be painting your clay pots! If you weren’t able to attend the ‘Make a Pot!’ workshop, don’t worry – we will have spare pots ready for you to paint. Plant a Pot –

Thursday 21st August, 11:00 – 12:00pm

In this workshop, we’ll joined by Wild South London who will be helping you plant a seed in your pot, as well as telling us all about the wild nature gardens on our doorstep. If you weren’t able to attend the ‘Make a Pot!’ And/or ‘Paint a Pot’ workshop, don’t worry – we will have spare pots ready for you to plant your seed.
