Creative writing and drawing session on queer South London history
Join Dr Catherine Hahn for a creative writing and drawing workshop on queer history in South London. The session is the final event in Queer Along the River, which is on display at Deptford Lounge throughout February for LGBTQ+ history month.
Queer Along the River gives vision to South London’s diverse, working-class LGBTQ+ history from the 18th century on. In the workshop, we will gain inspiration from the display and use creative writing and drawing to recover queer pasts.
Any level of creative writing experience, including none, is welcome. Resources and support will be provided.
