Erica Hesketh is a poet and editor, originally from Japan and Denmark, now based in London. She placed second in the 2022 Winchester Poetry Prize and was commended in the 2023 Magma Poetry Competition and the 2023 Stanza Competition. She was longlisted in the 2023 National Poetry Competition. Her poetry has been commissioned by the Royal Festival Hall, Spread the Word and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. From 2016 to 2024, she was Director of the Poetry Translation Centre. Her debut collection, In the Lily Room, is published by Nine Arches Press.
Khairani Barokka is a writer and artist from Jakarta. Among her honours, she’s been a UNFPA Indonesian Young Leader Driving Social Change, Delfina Foundation Associate Artist, Associate Artist at the UK’s National Centre for Writing, and a shortlistee for the 2023 Asian Women of Achievement Awards. Okka’s latest books are Barbellion Prize-shortlisted Ultimatum Orangutan (Nine Arches) and Jhalak Prize-longlisted amuk (Nine Arches). Her 2025 creative nonfiction debut is Annah, Infinite (Tilted Axis).
