Join us for a screening and collage workshop in celebration of creative practices that defy expectations.
For the first hour of the session, we’ll be screening a number of films made by and in association with The Albany’s Meet Meet Me At club and their partner organisation Entelechy Arts, including a film about Entelechy Arts Associate Director Hannah’s dance practice as a non-verbal wheelchair user, a Meet Me At member’s exhibition of his prolific paintings, and some fascinating Entelechy archive footage. We’ll also be screening artist Helena Appio’s A Portrait of Mr Pink – a short film about the man behind everyone’s favourite house on Loampit Hill. The film screenings will be followed by a chance to chat with the film directors, before embarking on a collage workshop lead by Sarah Bhandari, where you’ll be able to produce your own work of art in response to the films!
This screening is a collaboration between The Albany’s Meet Me At club for over 60’s. The film is scheduled at an earlier time for greater accessibility, but is open to everyone just like every other screening!
