How do traditional stories shape the way we see the world and the roles women play within it?

Join artist Jen Cable and SHEROES Collective founder Maria Gonzalez for an interactive family session exploring classic fairy tales and contemporary retellings through art, storytelling and discussion.

Using beloved stories such as Little Red Riding Hood and Rapunzel, the session will encourage children and adults to think critically about gender roles, representation and storytelling. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn more about Jen Cable’s artwork and creative practice.

This is designed to be a relaxed and enjoyable family event that encourages curiosity, imagination and conversation across generations.
