Age Guidance: 0-5

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a globally recognised book-gifting programme that inspires a love of reading from birth. Through the programme, children under five receive a free, high-quality, age-appropriate book delivered to their home every month, helping to build early language, literacy and a lifelong love of books. The programme is designed to support families to share stories together and give every child the best possible start in life.

We are incredibly excited to be launching the programme in Lewisham and joining a growing network of communities committed to improving children’s outcomes through the power of reading.

The launch event will celebrate this important milestone and provide an opportunity to learn more about the programme, hear about its impact, and join us in promoting a love of books and storytelling across the borough. There will be fun activities for children, music and helpful information.

We would be delighted if you could join us for this special occasion.
