‘Customer Care’ written by Enomwoyi Damali is a relatable piece about a memorable experience Enomwoyi had in a big warehouse. Shopping, can be quite enjoyable, especially if we pick up a bargain. Sometimes we have to speak to someone in Customer Services for a return, an exchange, to ask if there’s any more left of something… Or to make a complaint. And it’s such a pleasure when we are treated with respect, by someone who listens, shows empathy, is patient, and understand! And the award for best Customer Care goes to …? Have a look!
‘Trending’ written by Ian Pink is a look at the potential, actual and perceived toxicity of comedy and the reactions to it, as two people try to asses how to mitigate the fallout from one badly judged decision. Can the damage be repaired? How far is ‘too far’, on either side? And even if the world is coming to and end, is it really ‘that bad’?
