We are delighted to invite you to a special celebration honouring Lewisham Libraries’ victory in the regional heat of the Library of the Year award! Our application focused on the Imagined Worlds season and literary events, and your contribution has been key to our success.

This gathering will bring together local authors, poets, artists, library staff, volunteers, council representatives and various stakeholders who have contributed to our libraries’ success. There will be speeches and refreshments, including Library of the Year cupcakes(!). The celebration seamlessly transitions into our monthly Poetry in the Library event for those who wish to stay and enjoy. We hope you can join us for this momentous occasion as we celebrate the heart of our community — our libraries!
