Deptford Lounge – Facilities Manager

We are looking for a someone to support the Head of Buildings, Operations and Programming at Deptford Lounge and someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining safe, compliant, and well-presented facilities.

 

Salary

£34,320 pro rata, per annum (0.8 FTE, annual salary £27,456)

Contract

This role is offered part time; 32 hours per week, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays

About the role

Nestled in the heart of Deptford stands Deptford Lounge, a modern building just over ten years old. Over the decade, the library, school, resident organisations, and event space have provided a brilliant venue for this vast and varied community.

The Albany has been working in partnership with Lewisham Council to manage the Lounge and its room hire, facilities and to develop a community programme.

We are looking for someone to support the aims and objectives of the Albany including the delivery of business contracts, upholding all Albany policies, including Customer Care, Access, Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity, Sustainability and Safeguarding.

You will ensure the smooth front of house operation of events and performances in line with Health & Safety and Public Entertainment License regulations and contractual obligations, and support the building maintenance and administration.
